Traditional blunts are not safe (especially when hit in the face)
The type used by the reenactor groups "Les Mastins d'Orlians" and "Orleans 1429" seem much more secure and allow (paradoxically, given their appearance) more realistic shots while remaining less dangerous.

For the moment, traditional blunts are also allowed but that could change for the next edition of the event.
